Sella Kataragama
Sella Kataragama is a peaceful and spiritual place of worship located 5.2 km from the famous Kataragama Devalaya in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. Situated on the banks of the Menik Ganga (Jewel River), this place is deeply connected to the legends of the Kataragama God (Skanda/Murugan) and holds special significance for both Buddhists and Hindus.

This is the place where Princess Valli, the wife of the Kataragama God, met and this shrine marks the place of their meeting. Many devotees believe that it symbolizes divine love, faith and blessings.
